La Vague is a public swimming facility in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou with indoor and outdoor pools as well as a 32-meter water slide. The complex spreads across several aquatic zones with separate areas for leisure swimming and lanes for athletic training.
The swimming pool opened its doors in July 2024 as part of a broader expansion of public facilities in the municipality. Construction marked one of the first major infrastructure investments in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou in over a decade.
The pool takes its name from the wave-shaped architecture that runs across the building's roofline. Families use the facility especially on weekends, when children move between basins and parents meet in the rest areas.
The pool opens daily from 10 in the morning until 10 in the evening, providing ample time for a visit after work or on weekends. Changing rooms and showers sit close to the entrances of the different water areas.
The pool features two jacuzzis, steam rooms, massage showers, and a solarium all housed together in a dedicated wellness area. This equipment makes the facility more than just a sports venue and attracts visitors who simply want to relax.
