Nacpan Beach
Nacpan Beach is a 4-kilometer-long stretch of soft white sand in El Nido, Palawan, lined with swaying coconut trees and bordered by calm, clear water. The area has an open, natural layout with no large buildings, making it easy to find quiet spots along the shoreline.
This beach was once a hidden spot known to few travelers before gaining popularity in recent years. Its limited development has kept its natural character intact, making it one of the least altered beaches in the region.
Small local eateries serve fresh seafood and regional dishes directly on the sand, where visitors eat while watching the water. This laid-back dining style reflects how the place encourages people to slow down and enjoy simple moments together.
The beach is about 45 minutes from El Nido and accessible by motorbike, shuttle service, or guided tours. The best time to visit is November through May when the weather is dry, ideally in the late afternoon to watch the sunset.
The beach is actually a double formation with the neighboring Calitang Beach, connected by a narrow strip of land that offers a panoramic view from a nearby hilltop viewpoint. From this elevated spot, visitors can see both beaches at once.
