A 500-meter sandy beach with a southwestern orientation stretches along the northern side of Botany Bay, featuring clear waters and white sand.
Governor Philip landed at this location in January 1788, where indigenous people directed him to a freshwater source now known as Bunnerong Creek.
Yarra Bay House on Yarra Point now serves as the local Aboriginal Land Council headquarters, reflecting the area's connection to indigenous communities.
