Plage de Port-Manec’h

Plage de Port-Manec'h is a sand beach stretching about 150 meters along the Aven estuary with fine sand and clear waters. Mansions and white bathing cabins line the shore, creating a distinctive seaside setting that has remained relatively unchanged for generations.

The beach emerged as a fashionable destination during the Belle Époque when wealthy visitors constructed substantial residences along the shore. This period shaped the character of the place and left architectural traces that remain visible today.

At low tide, visitors can walk to a small rocky island from the shore, revealing a hidden passage that emerges only at certain times. The coastal footpath offers views across the water toward the islands of Groix and Glénan.
