Pittulongu "Lo Squalo"

The beach stretches along a curved coastline with fine light gray sand and features small rocks separating it from neighboring La Playa beach.

The beach earned its name Lo Squalo from local fishermen who frequently spotted sharks in these waters during the early 20th century.

Residents of Olbia gather at this beach during summer evenings to participate in traditional Sardinian music performances and seaside celebrations.

The beach provides wheelchair access, umbrella rentals, dinghies for rent, and remains open from Tuesday through Sunday between 19:00 and 22:00.

From the beach's northern end, visitors can observe the limestone cliffs of Tavolara Island rising 565 meters above the Mediterranean Sea.
