Ciraccio, Beach in Procida, Italy
Ciraccio is a sandy beach on the western shore of Procida with two volcanic rock outcrops visible from the water. The strand extends for a good distance, offering both open sections and areas sheltered by natural formations.
This beach developed through geological processes, including a landslide that separated it from the neighboring Ciracciello beach. These shifts in the tuff formations continue to shape the coastline profile.
Local families and residents gather at Ciraccio Beach during summer evenings for traditional fish barbecues and community celebrations.
Bus line L2 from Marina Grande port provides direct access, or you can follow signs from Piazza Olmo along Via Flavio Gioia. The northern section with the camping area is easy to reach and clearly marked.
A camping area occupies the northern section, making this the only coastal location on Procida where you can camp directly on or very near the beach. Visitors can fall asleep listening to the waves.
