Spiaggia di Cavalieri

Spiaggia di Cavalieri is a sand beach in La Maddalena featuring bright white sand and turquoise waters, bordered by Mediterranean vegetation and granite rock formations. The cove is surrounded by three islands that create naturally protected swimming areas with calm conditions.

The beach became part of La Maddalena National Park in 1994, established to protect the marine ecosystems and geological formations of the archipelago. This protection continues to shape how the site is managed and accessed today.

The sheltered waters have long served as a refuge for boats, and the site reflects the fishing heritage of the island community.

Reaching the beach requires taking a boat from La Maddalena town, with several operators offering regular trips during summer. Plan ahead and book in advance when possible, as availability can be limited during peak times.

The cove is framed by three islands that create natural swimming pools and protect visitors from ocean currents. This geological arrangement allows remarkably calm waters in a part of the archipelago that is often quite windy.
