Lido Saraceni

Lido Saraceni is a sand beach in Ortona stretching roughly 500 meters along the Adriatic coastline. It features fine sand and shallow waters, with rental services for sunbeds and umbrellas plus spaces dedicated to different uses.

The beach sits near where Canadian forces fought German troops during the Battle of Ortona in 1943. This battle marked a turning point in the campaign along the Italian Adriatic coast.
