Zatopiony las koło Czołpina

The submerged forest exhibits preserved oak and beech tree trunks that emerge from beneath the sand after strong storms along the shoreline.

Scientific studies reveal that the forest existed approximately 3,000 years ago before a significant fire event and subsequent flooding by the Baltic Sea.

The site represents a natural monument within Słowiński National Park, documenting environmental changes along the Polish Baltic coast through millennia.

Visitors need to park at designated areas and walk approximately 15 minutes through marked paths to reach the beach where tree remains appear.

The exposed black humus layer beneath the water creates a distinct contrast against the golden sand, forming a rubber-like surface to walk upon.
