The riverside beach features a grass area with natural shade, sandy shores, and straw umbrellas next to the Vergancinho Dam waters.

The Cardigos region contains numerous archaeological remains from the Roman period, including thermal baths discovered in the nearby Ortiga area.

Local traditions of the Medio Tejo region are maintained through seasonal celebrations and events organized at the riverside beach during summer.
