Praia da Concha

Praia da Concha is a beach extending about 450 meters along white sand shores near the Arousa estuary. The waterfront features a paved promenade with benches and walking paths that run the length of the sandy area.

This beach was enlarged over time through landfill projects that connected it with the adjacent Playa Compostela. These changes created a longer, unified shoreline for the community.

The promenade along this shoreline is where locals gather on warm evenings, creating a social hub that connects two small towns across the water's edge.

This beach provides showers, lounge chairs, and regular cleaning services for visitor comfort. Access from the main road is straightforward, with parking available near the entrance.

The shore is marked by abundant shells scattered across the sand, giving it a coarse texture underfoot. Visitors notice this natural feature most when walking barefoot along the water's edge.
