La Rijana

This coastal stretch extends 250 meters in length and 20 meters in width, featuring dark sand beaches surrounded by mountainous terrain and cliffs.

The beach has long served as a natural harbor for local fishing vessels, connecting the maritime communities of Calahonda and Castell del Ferro.

This section of the Costa Tropical represents traditional Spanish beach life, where residents gather during summer months for swimming and social activities.

Visitors can access the beach through a stepped pathway from the N-340 road, with parking spaces available for approximately 50 to 100 vehicles.

The underwater rocky seabed creates conditions for diverse marine life, making it a preferred location for scuba diving and sports fishing.
