Millennium Park Beach offers a sandy shoreline along with a marked swimming section within a larger 1,400-acre recreational space in Kent County, Michigan.
The beach area has expanded since its establishment as part of Kent County's parks system, which now includes over 40 parks and 100 miles of trails.
The beach hosts water sports competitions, including the 2018 US Wake Surf Open, which gathered participants from different countries to compete for prizes.
Access to the beach requires an admission fee of 4 dollars for adults and 2 dollars for children between 3 and 15 years old.
The VanAndel Beach House provides restroom facilities near a concession stand that serves Hawaiian shaved ice, hot dogs, and cold brew coffee.
