North Beach extends along Lake Michigan with 50 acres of sandy shoreline, offering recreation space and swimming opportunities for visitors throughout summer months.
The beach received recognition in 2004 as Wisconsin's first Certified Blue Wave clean beach, setting standards for water quality and environmental management.
The beach hosts regular summer events at Beachside Oasis, including live music performances, Zumba classes, and community gatherings that bring residents together.
Visitors access free parking areas near the beach, which maintains lifeguard services from June through August between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM daily.
The installation of a Mobi Mat in 2010 made North Beach the first location in Wisconsin to provide wheelchair accessibility directly to the water's edge.
