North Beach

North Beach is a sand beach along Lake Michigan featuring a large shoreline with recreational facilities and designated swimming areas for public use. The site provides open space where visitors can enjoy water activities and relax on sandy grounds throughout the year.

The beach earned certification as Wisconsin's first Blue Wave clean beach in 2004, meeting strict water quality and environmental standards. This recognition established the site's reputation as a destination with well-maintained natural conditions.

The beach serves as a gathering place where local residents and visitors come together for summer events, live performances, and community activities. These gatherings reflect how central this waterfront location is to the town's social calendar and daily life.

The site offers free parking nearby and is easily accessible to visitors of all abilities. Lifeguard supervision is available during summer months, providing added safety for swimmers.

A special mat installed in 2010 allows visitors using wheelchairs to access the water directly, making this the first such facility in Wisconsin. This feature reflects how the beach welcomes guests with varying physical needs.
