Grandvalira Estació de Ski Grau Roig, Ski resort in Encamp, Andorra
Grandvalira Grau Roig is a ski resort with slopes ranging from 1,710 to 2,640 meters in elevation across its terrain. The area has 74 ski lifts and provides equipment rentals and ski instruction on site.
The resort was created in 2003 when two separate ski areas merged to form the largest operation in the Pyrenees. This combination brought together more terrain and expanded the visitor experience across the mountain.
The mountain restaurants here serve traditional Andorran dishes and reflect how locals embrace winter mountain life. Visitors can taste regional flavors while taking in views of the surrounding peaks.
The resort operates Friday to Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00, with all lifts running during these hours. Some areas may occasionally close due to weather conditions or maintenance work.
The Speed Skiing slope here is the only officially approved track on the Iberian Peninsula for World Cup races. Professional skiers use this special run to test their speed against others.
