William MacKenzie's Tomb, Pyramid tomb in Rodney Street, Liverpool, England.
The tomb features a fifteen-foot pyramidal stone structure marking the final resting place of a 19th-century civil engineer and wealthy businessman.
William MacKenzie, who accumulated wealth through railway and canal construction projects, was buried beneath this monument in 1851 at age 57.
Local tales suggest MacKenzie requested an upright burial with cards in hand to outwit Satan, though inscriptions indicate a traditional underground interment.
The site is accessible daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, situated in the former graveyard of St Andrew's Church on Rodney Street.
The inscription reveals three occupants: MacKenzie, his first wife Mary who died in 1838, and his second wife Sarah who passed in 1867.
