Located in former military barracks transformed into a cultural hub, Le 70.8 opened in 2020 to educate visitors about maritime innovations and ocean preservation.

The exhibition space presents Napoleon's imperial canoe and demonstrates the connection between Brittany's maritime heritage and modern ocean sciences.

The museum welcomes visitors every day from 11:00 to 18:00, with admission prices of 9 euros for adults and 4 euros for children aged 3 to 13.

An animated floor simulates Brittany's beaches, allowing visitors to observe virtual marine life beneath their feet while walking through the exhibition space.
