Esdermiki

Esdermiki is a bronze figure from the large collection of over 800 dwarfs scattered throughout Wrocław. The statue stands in the Powstańców Śląskich area and is part of an outdoor art project that spans the entire city.

The figure was installed in 2019 as part of a movement that started as a tribute to the Orange Alternative. This anti-communist movement inspired artists to fill Wrocław with these unique bronze sculptures beginning at the turn of the 21st century.

This dwarf is part of a collection that shapes the character of Wrocław's streets and shows different professions and activities. The figures invite visitors to explore the city in a playful way while discovering small stories along the way.
