Rocher de la Loze, Mountain summit near Courchevel, France
The Rocher de la Loze stands at 2230 meters elevation, offering views across the Vanoise glaciers and the Mont Blanc mountain range.
The mountain path remained unpaved until 2019, when authorities created access routes for the Tour de France cycling competition passage.
The summit attracts cyclists and hikers who follow marked trails through alpine environments while observing local mountain flora and fauna.
Visitors can reach the summit via the Les Verdons cable car from La Croisette, where free covered parking remains available during summer months.
The circular hiking trail spans 7.3 kilometers with 430 meters of elevation gain, incorporating passages near the mountain's characteristic blue lake.
