Télécabine de l'Olympe

The Télécabine de l'Olympe is a gondola lift in Brides-les-Bains that rises across about 6400 meters and connects two villages in the Alps. The ride covers a substantial climb and delivers you to the Three Valleys ski area.

This gondola lift opened in 1991 as infrastructure development for the 1992 Winter Olympics held in Albertville. It was built to improve access to the ski slopes in this mountain region.

Some cabins display regional themes that tell the story of this Alpine valley and its heritage. You learn about local traditions and what makes this mountain area special as you travel upward.

The ride takes roughly twenty minutes and delivers you straight into the ski zone. Keep in mind that conditions and hours of operation can change depending on the season and weather.

Some cabins let you scan QR codes to join a knowledge quiz with the chance to win ski passes. This interactive feature makes the ride both fun and educational.
