Firlefranz, Katapult-Stahlachterbahn vom Modell Family Coaster des Herstellers Gerstlauer im Bayern-Park (Reisbach, Bayern, Deutschland)
Firlefranz is a steel roller coaster in Bayern Park with a total length of 240 meters and a height of 15.5 meters, equipped with purple tracks and beige support structures. The ride uses a ten-car system with 20 passenger seats per journey.
The coaster opened on April 28, 2023, as a new addition to Bayern Park's family attractions. It was designed and built by the manufacturer Gerstlauer.
The name combines the German word Firlefanz, meaning nonsense or decoration, with Franz-Xaver, representing the park's lion mascot character.
Children from 90 centimeters tall can ride when accompanied by an adult. The coaster runs regularly throughout the day with each journey taking roughly the same amount of time.
The ride features a switch mechanism in the track system that allows the train to change directions during the journey. This means passengers experience both forward and backward movements in a single ride.
