Voiles en Voiles, Adventure park in Old Port, Montreal, Canada
Voiles en Voiles is an adventure park featuring two full-size ship replicas that serve as climbing and obstacle courses. The courses vary in difficulty and include climbing walls, ziplines, and suspended pathways at different heights.
The park was built at the former harbour site of Place des Vestiges using ship replicas modeled after 18th-century vessels. The designs draw from both pirate ships and royal sailing ships of that era.
The location at the Old Port connects visitors to Montreal's relationship with water and seafaring. Walking through the park, you notice how the ships and setting reflect the city's maritime background.
Children from age three can participate in activities, with safety gear including harnesses and helmets provided for everyone. Visiting on quieter days allows you to move through the courses at a more relaxed pace.
Visitors can practice foam archery throughout the park and also experience a 3D immersive theater that extends beyond the physical courses. This combination of hands-on activity and visual effects creates an unusual blend of adventure and entertainment.
