Le Manoir Maudit, Escape room in Laval-sur-Vologne, France
Le Manoir Maudit is an escape room experience housed in a 1000 square meter (10,764 square feet) mansion with twenty rooms filled with mechanical devices and special effects. The various spaces are equipped with elaborate props and set pieces designed to create an immersive world.
The mansion references a 1931 murder mystery involving Lord Fitzwilliam Cadavera, whose death in his study remains unsolved. This historical narrative serves as the backdrop for the puzzles and scenarios visitors experience.
Costumed performers guide you through different scenarios, blending puzzle-solving with theatrical elements. This creates an experience that goes beyond a typical game.
Sessions are available Wednesday through Friday in the afternoon, Saturday late into the evening, and Sunday in the afternoon. It is advisable to book in advance as group sizes are limited and time slots fill up quickly.
Beyond the puzzle rooms, the location offers a restaurant-cafe and a specialized shop selling masks, makeup, decorations, and esoteric items. These additions allow visitors to extend their immersion even after leaving the game areas.
