Crots Branches Accrobranche, Tree climbing adventure park in Crots, France.
Crots Branches Accrobranche is a tree climbing park with twelve different courses that range from easy to difficult and suit beginners through to experienced climbers. The park spreads across three hectares and offers around 200 individual challenges set high in the trees at varying heights.
The park was built near Lake Serre-Ponçon and helped develop outdoor recreation in the Hautes-Alpes region. The project fit into an area where adventure activities were already becoming part of how people spent their time outdoors.
The place reflects French traditions of outdoor recreation and welcomes families who want to explore the trees together. The activities create moments where people of different ages can climb side by side and connect with the forest around them.
The park is open from May through November and offers extended hours during summer along with special evening sessions. Visitors should wear sturdy shoes and come ready for physical activity to have the best experience on the courses.
The park hosts L'École des Sorciers, an outdoor escape game where teams use magical wands to find seven tablets and create potions. This activity blends the climbing experience with a puzzling adventure and takes around 90 minutes to complete.
