Hurricane Factory Berlin GmbH, Vertical wind tunnel in Schönefeld, Germany.
Hurricane Factory Berlin is an indoor skydiving facility with a transparent flight chamber measuring 5.2 meters in diameter and 15 meters in height. The venue provides all gear and safety equipment needed for participants of any experience level.
This facility opened in July 2017 as Berlin's first vertical wind tunnel for flight simulation, using advanced technology from Czech manufacturer Strojirna Litvinov. It quickly became a training destination for flight enthusiasts in the region.
The place draws people who want to experience the sensation of freefall in a safe setting and share this excitement with others. Many return to practice their techniques and try more advanced movements.
The venue is open at different times throughout the week, with set operating hours for flight sessions. Plan ahead by booking in advance, as sessions fill up regularly with participants of all skill levels.
The wind current reaches speeds of up to 280 kilometers per hour, creating the sensation of freefall within the transparent chamber. Participants float at about 4 meters high while practicing aerial movements that closely mirror actual skydiving.
