MysteryRooms München, Escape room in Munich, Germany

MysteryRooms München is an escape room facility with six different themed rooms located at FORUM Schwanthaler Höhe. Teams must solve puzzles and complete missions within 60 minutes to succeed in each room.

The facility opened in 2015, bringing the escape room concept to Munich after it originated from video games in the early 2000s. This type of game quickly gained popularity worldwide and inspired the creation of rooms like this one.

Each room reflects aspects of local culture, such as brewing traditions that show traditional craftsmanship and everyday practices.

The venue is easy to access and opens daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, accepting reservations for groups between 2 and 6 players. It's best to book in advance, especially on weekends or holidays, and travel directly to the FORUM Schwanthaler Höhe location.

A special feature is the Munich Explorer Tour program, which combines escape room elements with real city exploration. Participants explore notable locations around the city using digital tablets while solving interactive challenges along the way.

Where to have fun in Munich: laser tag, escape rooms, sports and leisure

Munich offers a wide variety of entertainment for those who want to stay active or have fun in different ways. You can find laser tag venues like LaserZone Garching or TerraMars, escape rooms such as MysteryRooms with six themed rooms, and the Dream-Bowl Palace which has 52 bowling lanes, a restaurant, and an arcade. The Olympic Stadium, built for the 1972 Games, still hosts sports activities and even features a 200-meter zip line on its roof. Water lovers can visit the natural pool Maria Einsiedel, fed by an underground spring and filtered by plants, or head to the Dante winter pool for a swim in a 25-meter basin. The Est ice sports center has two rinks for hockey and figure skating. For a more modern experience, Vaons Virtual Reality has 12 stations with headsets and around fifty different games and simulations.
