San Marcial, Mountain campground in Tella-Sin, Spain
San Marcial is a campground on a sloped terrain at 800 meters elevation with about 20 pitches ranging from 60 to 100 square meters in size. The land is arranged in terraces, and electrical hookups are available at the site.
The campground was established in the latter part of the 20th century as the Aragonese Pyrenees began attracting outdoor tourism. This period saw increased interest in accessible mountain accommodation throughout the region.
The site is woven into village life as travelers come and go through the settlement. Local routines and traditions shape how visitors experience the surrounding landscape and community.
The site operates from April through October and welcomes tents and caravans up to 5.5 meters long. Be aware that the sloped terrain can become slippery during heavy rain, so sturdy footwear is essential.
The location borders three major rivers - Cinca, Ara, and Esera - all within a short walk. This proximity to flowing water makes fishing and water sports unusually convenient for campers.
