The three-hectare garden features multiple water basins, streams, and ponds that showcase over 250 aquatic plants and 1000 different plant species.
The garden was established in 1992 by Johan Benoist and his team, who left their urban lifestyle to dedicate themselves to creating aquatic gardens.
The garden incorporates both English and Japanese design elements, with sculpted trees, perennial plant beds, bridges, fountains, and a traditional Japanese torii gate.
The garden welcomes visitors from Wednesday to Sunday between 2 PM and 6 PM, with entrance fees of 8 euros for adults and 4 euros for children under 12.
A biological swimming pool, naturally filtered and inhabited by a sturgeon, adds an ecological dimension to this garden dedicated to aquatic plant preservation.
