Camping Tonnara

Camping Tonnara is a seaside campground on Sant'Antioco island with 175 pitches, 12 studios, 8 bungalows, and 23 mobile homes arranged across multiple rows. The accommodations face the Mediterranean Sea and are set within the surrounding park area.

Sant'Antioco island was an important Phoenician harbor in ancient times before Roman forces took control in 238 BC and left their mark on the region. These early settlements shaped the island's character and development for centuries to come.

The restaurants on the grounds serve traditional Sardinian dishes prepared by local cooks. Visitors can browse the on-site market to discover regional products and local food specialties from the island.

The campground has electrical hookups at 220V/6A available at all pitches and washing machines for guests. Public transportation stops about 100 meters from the property, making it easy to arrive and explore the surrounding area.

The campground provides direct access to Cala Sapone inlet, where natural rock pools form alongside the sandy beach. These protected swimming areas are a distinctive feature rarely found at other locations on this coastline.
