Center Parcs Port Zélande
Center Parcs Port Zélande is a holiday resort on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee on the Dutch coast, surrounded by water and nature. The grounds span about 27 hectares and include Mediterranean-style cottages, an indoor water park called Aqua Mundo with pools and water slides, and various recreational facilities such as mini-golf and an Adventure Factory.
The site opened in 1990 as a private holiday park called Gran Dorado and was originally designed to resemble a southern French fishing village. In the early 2000s, Center Parcs took over the park, after which the cottages were redesigned in Mediterranean style and the water attractions were refreshed as Aqua Mundo.
The name Port Zélande evokes a southern French harbor town, and the cottage architecture reflects this Mediterranean style. Visitors experience a relaxed setting where water and nature take center stage, and daily activities revolve around outdoor pursuits.
The resort is easy to reach by car and offers ample parking near the accommodations. Visitors can rent bicycles to explore the area, and there is a supermarket on site for groceries as well as several restaurants and cafes.
Situated behind the Brouwersdam, the resort has access to both the Grevelingenmeer and the North Sea, offering a range of water sports from sailing to kitesurfing. A separate campsite called Camping Kabbelaarsbank and a marina provide additional leisure options beyond the cottages and main park.
