The Saint-Géry Market Hall features Flemish neo-Renaissance architecture with four rows of blue stone stalls and a distinctive iron framework structure.
Built between 1881 and 1882 by architect Adolphe Vanderheggen, this covered market served local traders until its closure in 1977.
The building now hosts exhibitions, performances, and concerts that showcase Brussels' cultural heritage through various events and installations.
Visitors can access the site from 10:00 AM to midnight daily and utilize the information center offering books about Brussels' history.
The location displays the last open-air remnant of the Senne River and includes a microbrewery producing local Belgian beers.
