Aviary, Rooftop bar and terrace in Finsbury Square, London, United Kingdom.
The Aviary is a rooftop bar and terrace on the 10th floor of the Montcalm Royal London House Hotel at Finsbury Square. It features both a covered indoor dining area and an open outdoor terrace with views across London's skyline.
The venue was created as part of the hotel's modern renovation and designed by Russell Sage Studio to become an upscale rooftop destination. It opened to showcase panoramic views of London from above.
The venue serves contemporary British cuisine with seasonal menus, hosting themed events like Champagne Brunch and Sunday Roasts that reflect modern London dining culture and social gathering traditions.
The venue opens daily and can accommodate both seated and standing visitors. Access is through the hotel building, and the space works for casual visits as well as reserved events.
During winter months, the outdoor terrace features heated glass pods where guests can dine in the open air while staying protected from the cold. These special enclosures allow views of London to be enjoyed even in harsh weather.

In London, just look up to discover another city. Above the pavements and the bustle, rooftops have become places to breathe, have a drink, or simply watch the sun set over the Thames. From the City to Shoreditch, from the West End to Camden, each terrace offers something different: some are elegant and intimate, others bohemian, loud, or festive. Glass towers reflect in cocktail glasses, red roofs glow under string lights, and the skyline shifts color throughout the day. These rooftop bars are more than viewpoints—they are parts of London, between sky and music, where the urban energy that never sleeps is felt. People go up for the view, stay for the life that builds there every evening.
