Rhododendronpark

Rhododendronpark is a spacious grounds in Graal-Müritz where numerous rhododendrons and azaleas spread across the landscape in various varieties. Besides the plantings, there is a covered concert pavilion and a café that invite visitors to spend time there.

The grounds took shape between 1955 and 1961 on a former sand extraction site, where a landscape architect transformed the barren area into a green space. Official protection as a historic monument came in 1986, underscoring the place's importance to the community.
