Latvian National Opera and Ballet

The Latvian National Opera and Ballet is an opera house on Aspazijas Boulevard featuring multiple halls for different performance types. The largest auditorium holds nearly 1000 seats, while smaller rooms host specialized programs.

The building was constructed in 1863 in a classical style and underwent major reconstruction following a fire in 1882. This rebuilding established the structure visitors see today, which has remained largely unchanged for generations.
