Street Art 13, Urban art trail in the 13th arrondissement, France.
Street Art 13 features a collection of murals created by local and international artists on building facades along Boulevard Vincent Auriol, forming an open-air gallery that allows visitors to explore contemporary artistic expression in an urban setting.
The Street Art 13 project was initiated in 2009 by the Association for the Promotion of Urban and Contemporary Arts in partnership with Galerie Itinerrance, gradually transforming the neighborhood into a reference location for urban murals in Paris.
The displayed works address various social and political themes, including symbols of national solidarity, portraits of local residents, and artistic representations that question contemporary society through different techniques and graphic styles applied to public walls.
The trail can be explored on foot along Boulevard Vincent Auriol between Corvisart and Place d'Italie metro stations on line 6, allowing visitors to observe the murals distributed across several buildings throughout the neighborhood.
The mural Papy Danse by C215 pays tribute to Eli, a neighborhood resident known for dancing weekly in front of the Italie 2 shopping center, becoming a symbol of local friendliness appreciated by residents.
