Société centrale canine

Established on January 1, 1979 as a nonprofit association recognized for public utility, it gradually developed national standards for the management and regulation of dog breeds in France over the decades.

The organization hosts dog competitions and championships that bring together breeders and enthusiasts, while contributing to professional training for careers related to the canine industry in France and beyond.

Located at 155 Avenue Jean Jaurès, it welcomes the public from Monday to Friday between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM for administrative procedures and registration of dogs in the French pedigree registry.

It holds the exclusive responsibility for maintaining the French Book of Origins and works with authorities to combat illegal dog trafficking and guarantee traceability of breeding operations across the nation.
