Ski Zürs
Ski Zürs is a ski resort in the Vorarlberg region of Austria situated in a high-altitude mountain village. The terrain spans about 300 kilometers of runs with slopes for all skill levels, supported by modern lift systems that connect the entire valley.
Zürs evolved over more than a hundred years from a small mountain settlement into a recognized ski destination. Infrastructure grew gradually with modern lifts connecting this area to nearby Arlberg resorts like Lech and St. Anton.
The name Zürs comes from an old Alpine herding location that marked seasonal mountain pastures. Today the village functions as a gathering place where visitors experience skiing alongside local Austrian cuisine and mountain traditions.
The village center sits above 1600 meters elevation with ski access directly from the slopes nearby. Along the way you find mountain huts serving local food, ski rental shops, and accommodations positioned right on the hillsides.
The Flexenbahn is a famous cable car that travels over a mountain pass connecting Zürs to Lech with spectacular views of surrounding Alpine peaks. This ride stands out as a highlight for many visitors.
