Zürs, Ski resort in Arlberg region, Austria.
Zürs is a mountain village at 1,717 meters (5,633 feet) in the Arlberg region that forms a connected ski area with neighboring Lech and St. Anton. The village offers many slopes that spread across the linked mountainsides and serve skiers of different abilities.
The village developed as a winter tourism destination through the construction of luxury hotels during the early growth of Alpine skiing. These investments helped it establish itself among elite mountain resorts.
The village has become a meeting place for experienced skiers who value personal attention and long-term relationships with their ski instructors. This tradition is visible in how the resort maintains its exclusive character and welcomes returning guests each year.
A ski pass gives you access to all lifts in Zürs, Lech, St. Anton, and Warth Schröcken for the entire winter season. The best time to visit is between December and March when most slopes are open.
This is the only location in Austria where licensed helicopter skiing is offered for experienced skiers. These flights open access to otherwise unreachable mountain slopes.
