Żródełko
Zródełko is a small natural spring at the base of Grabarka hill with clean, cool water known for centuries. A modest chapel with a simple shelter stands nearby, where pilgrims come to collect water and wash, believing it has healing properties.
During a cholera epidemic in 1710, people sought refuge at this spring believing its water saved them from the disease. This event made the site sacred to believers and led to the construction of a protective shelter over the spring in 1910.
The spring holds deep spiritual meaning for believers who visit to perform cleansing rituals and collect water. Local custom centers on taking the water home to drink or use for the sick, and visitors often leave small cloths and coins as prayer offerings at this site.
The site is freely accessible at any time, and it is recommended to bring containers for collecting water. The paths to the spring are easy to walk and accessible to most visitors.
Water from the spring is blessed several times each year according to Orthodox tradition, particularly around Epiphany and other church festivals. These blessings attract many believers who take the sacred water home for spiritual protection.
