Chiikawa Park is a theme park inside Sunshine City Annex in the Higashi-Ikebukuro neighborhood of Toshima-ku, Tokyo. It occupies two floors: a basement level with photo zones, a theater, and themed sets, and a ground floor with a gift shop and game corners.
Chiikawa Park opened in July 2025 inside the Sunshine City complex in Ikebukuro, making it one of the newest entertainment spaces in that part of Tokyo. It was created following the rapid rise of the Chiikawa series, which began as a web manga posted on social media.
Chiikawa Park is built around a web manga series created by the Japanese artist Nagano, featuring small characters like Hachiware, Usagi, and Momonga. The series became widely popular in Japan and now inspires dedicated shops, a bakery, and a ramen restaurant alongside this park.
Tickets are sold only online through the Asoview! platform and must be booked in advance, as no tickets are available at the door. Once you leave, re-entry is generally not permitted, so it is best to plan your visit carefully before going in.
One section of the park is a mirror maze called the Akumuna Room, which leads into a Night Forest where visitors wear 3D glasses to see imaginary creatures and night scenes. This adds a dimension that many first-time visitors do not expect from what looks like a purely cute, soft-toned space.
