The Base nautique is a bathing lake and outdoor activity center on the bank of the Blavet river in Pluméliau-Bieuzy, in the Morbihan department of Brittany, France. On site, visitors can rent canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards to use directly on the river.
The Blavet valley was gradually developed for leisure as outdoor activities along Brittany's waterways grew in popularity over the decades. The base grew out of this shift, turning a working river into a place where anyone can get on the water safely.
