The Mokpo Natural History Museum is a natural history museum in Mokpo-si, South Korea, organized around two main halls: the Natural History Hall and the Literature History Hall. Its seven exhibition rooms display fossils, minerals, and plant and animal specimens drawn from the surrounding region.
The museum opened in the early 2000s as the first municipal natural history museum in South Korea. It was established largely in response to major fossil discoveries in the Jeonnam region, which required a dedicated place to study and display them.
The Literature History Hall offers a window into the natural and regional identity of the Jeonnam area, connecting local people to the land through objects rather than text. Visitors often find this section more personal than the main fossil halls, as it reflects how the region understands its own past.

The museum holds one of only two known Prenoceratops fossils in the world, which makes it a rare destination for anyone drawn to prehistoric life. Separately, a fossilized dinosaur egg nest from Sinan-gun is on display and carries the designation of Natural Monument number 535.
