Amasra Büyük Limanı, Harbour and marina in Bartın, Turkey
Amasra Büyük Limanı is a harbour and marina on the Black Sea coast, within the town of Amasra in Bartın province, northern Turkey. It accommodates fishing boats, yachts, and visiting vessels, and sits right at the edge of the old town.
Amasra has served as a Black Sea port since ancient times, used by merchants and sailors from many different cultures over the centuries. The current harbour has been expanded over time to handle modern boats and visiting yachts alongside the traditional fishing fleet.
The harbour is easy to reach on foot from Amasra's town center, making it a natural stop on any walk through the area. Summer months see more boats and visitors, so early morning or evening visits tend to offer a calmer experience.
Although Amasra has two harbours, Büyük Limanı is the only one officially open to international arrivals and customs procedures. Boats coming from other countries must stop here before continuing along the Turkish coast.
