Nové Město na Moravě, Winter sports resort in Vysočina Region, Czech Republic

Located at an elevation of 594 meters, Nové Město na Moravě encompasses nine administrative divisions with natural features including the Bobrůvka River and multiple fishponds.

The settlement, initially called Bočkov in 1267, received its current name during the medieval colonization period of the Bohemian and Moravian frontier regions.

The Horácká Gallery, situated in the former castle at Vratislavovo Square, presents exhibitions dedicated to regional glassmaking traditions and sculptural artworks.

The town functions as a transportation hub with the I/19 road connecting to Žďár nad Sázavou and Boskovice, plus a railway line extending to Tišnov.

The Vysočina Aréna hosts international competitions including the Biathlon World Championships and UCI Mountain Bike World Cup races throughout different seasons.
