The theater complex features two distinct performance spaces: a 365-seat stage for dramatic works and a 700-seat hall for musical productions.
The institution evolved from the Free Theatre, later becoming the Mrštík Brothers Theatre, before relocating from St James Square to Lidická Street in 1965.
The theater ensemble performs daily, presenting two different productions each day across their stages, ranging from classical dramas to contemporary musicals.
