The concrete structure consists of three cylindrical tubes reaching 216 meters into the sky, making it the highest building in Prague.
Construction began in 1985 under architects Václav Aulický and Jiří Kozák, with the transmitter becoming operational in February 1992.
The exterior features ten large white fiberglass sculptures of infants by Czech artist David Černý, mounted on the tower's supporting pillars.
Two elevators transport visitors to the observation deck at 93 meters in 38 seconds, providing views extending up to 100 kilometers on clear days.
The structure houses a one-room hotel suite at 70 meters altitude, offering overnight stays with panoramic views of the Czech capital.
