Obřany is a medieval castle ruin located on elevated terrain in the Hostýnské vrchy mountains. The remaining stone walls and tower structures clearly show the original layout and defensive positions of the fortress.
The castle was built before 1365 and served as a defensive stronghold for Moravian nobles during the medieval period. Over the centuries, the fortress fell into decline, leaving the remains visible today.
