Valdštejn Castle, Rock castle in Kadeřavec, Czech Republic
Valdštejn Castle stands upon three sandstone cliffs in the Bohemian Paradise region, featuring Gothic architecture and stone bridges spanning the gaps.
The Markvartice family constructed this fortress in 1260, marking it as the first castle established within the Bohemian Paradise territory.
The castle holds regular exhibitions in the Ceremonial Hall, displaying artifacts and portraits that belonged to the influential Valdštejn noble family.
