Tisovský vrch, Mountain summit in northwestern Ore Mountains, Czech Republic
Peindlberg is a summit in the Ore Mountains with forested slopes and multiple trails winding through the region. The peak provides views across the surrounding landscape and connects to a network of hiking paths.
The name comes from German communities that lived in the Ore Mountains before World War II. The region has long been part of the mining heritage of these mountains.
Local hiking groups maintain regular gatherings at the summit, continuing a tradition of mountaineering that spans multiple generations in the Czech Republic.
The best time to visit is from spring through fall when the trails are dry and easy to walk on. Be sure to bring warm clothing as weather at higher elevations can change quickly.
