Dinopark Vyškov, Dinosaur and zoological park in Vyškov, Czech Republic
Dinopark Vyškov is a combined zoo and dinosaur exhibition where living animals and prehistoric replicas coexist in one location. The facility displays around 450 animals from over 130 species alongside full-sized dinosaur sculptures spread across designated outdoor zones.
The zoo was established first and later expanded with a paleontological section to create a two-part learning experience. This combination transformed the site into a place where visitors could encounter both contemporary wildlife and ancient history.
The park merges two separate interests under one visit: observing animals alive today and examining the creatures that once ruled the Earth. Both sections stand side by side, inviting visitors to compare and think about life across different eras.
The two sections are physically separate but linked by shuttle transportation that runs between them throughout the day. Comfortable footwear is advisable since there is considerable ground to cover when exploring both the living animals and the dinosaur displays.
A 4D cinema located within the park offers visitors physical sensations combined with visual effects to create an immersive dinosaur experience. This enclosed attraction is sometimes missed by guests who focus mainly on the outdoor sections.
